"Slab" Menorah

This minimalist hanukkiah invokes the destruction so central to the story, and from it, a glimmer emerging from deep within the rock. Lighting the hanukkiah is the central tradition of Hanukkah. Each night we light one more candle than the night before (on the first night just one plus the Shamash, which is used to light the others) until on the eighth night the hanukkiah is fully illuminated.
