Classic Wooden Dreidel

Classic Wooden Dreidel

Basic, inexpensive, and essential. Unbreakable even by a toddler. Have fun. Eat chocolate. Learn a few Hebrew letters along the way. It is said that dreidel was played as far back as the time of the Maccabees. It is said that children would sit around telling Jewish stories, which was illegal, and when the soldiers would come, they would quickly pull out a dreidel and pretend they were just playing a silly little game. Today, we play dreidel not only for fun and chocolate, but also it reminds us of a time when even telling the stories of our people was a criminal act.

$3 on its own, $1 in a box. Buy it on its own or add it to a Hanukkah box.
